Q: There are too many past orders. Can I clean them up and start with new orders?
Q: Can I clear the order information and only keep the necessary data?
A: Yes, you can archive past data in MC Boss. Please be aware that archived data cannot be restored, so make sure to confirm before proceeding.
Before Archiving
- On the product page, you can see past sales and stock details.
- On the customer page, you can see detailed customer histories.
- On the document page, you can see all the documents and payment records.



Important Reminder Before You Start
- Archived data is read-only, you cannot modify or print archived data.
- Only the main MC Boss account can archive data. Archived data can also only be viewed from this main account.
- Archiving options: 1) You can choose whether to retain or clear all previously created product and customer information. 2) For remaining stock and outstanding payment, you can also decide whether to retain or clear them.
- Archiving is limited to once per year.
How to Archive Data
On the main MC Boss account → Tap “More” → Tap “Settings” → Tap "Data Archiving"→ Review the points carefully, then tap “Data Archiving” → Select and confirm the required options → Tap “Start Data Archiving” → Enter the verification code sent to you via SMS → Tap “Confirm” → Done


Check Archived data
Check your archived data: On the main MC Boss account → Tap “More” → Tap the 👤 icon on the top-right corner → Tap “Archived” → Select the account and tap “Enter”

After archiving
- On the product page, you can see past sales details are reset to zero, and stock details are remain as a opening stock based on the options selected during archiving.
- On the customer page, you can see the histories are cleared, and an opening balance remains, based on the options selected during archiving.
- On the document page, you can see all the documents and payment records are cleared.
