How to back up my MC Printer data when switching to a new computer?

Q: My old computer is no longer working. How can I switch the MC Printer settings to my new computer?

A: As the first step, You need to back up your data on the old computer. Please refer to the steps below based on your system version (Windows or Mac):

------------- Windows -------------

Delete

Step 1: Open the workspace on your Windows computer

Path: Right-click the MC Printer icon in the bottom-right corner of your desktop → click "Settings" → click "Open the workspace"

Step 2: Copy the 4 folders to the USB drive

Path: In the workspace, copy the 4 folders to your USB drive

Alternatively, you can copy the entire MC Printer folder directly to your USB drive.

Step 3: Log out the MC printer on your old computer

Very important!

Path: Right-click the MC Printer icon in the bottom-right corner of your desktop → click "Settings" → click "Log out"

Step 4: Install remote control app (TeamViewer) on the new computer

Path: Insert the USB drive into your new computer open: https://get.teamviewer.com/mcapp → download and install the remote service (TeamViewer) contact our customer service for further assistance


------------- Mac -------------

Step 1: Open the working directory on your Mac computer

Path: On your Mac, tap the printer icon in the top right corner of your screen → Left-click the printer icon → click "Settings" → click "Open the workspace"

Path: In the workspace, copy the 4 folders to your USB drive

Step 3 : Log out the MC Printer on your old computer

Right-click the MC Printer icon in the top-right corner of your desktop → click "Settings" → click "Log out"
